My Path in Tech:
The Human Side of IT
With nearly two decades in IT, I’ve become a bit of a system whisperer—tuning databases, tracking down elusive bugs, and making sure enterprise apps run like clockwork.
My career began in the world of application support, but it quickly branched into SQL, IT Service Management (ITSM), and data analytics, giving me a 360° view of how systems think, break, and heal.
At DaVita Renal Care, I fine-tuned databases for performance, wrote cleaner SQL than most people write emails, and helped teams visualize their data in new, empowering ways. Whether it was shortening downtime or automating a reporting process, I was always focused on making things smarter, faster, and more human-friendly.
I’m most energized when I’m solving puzzles—digging into a log file, decoding a performance drop, or helping a team understand the story behind their numbers. I bring a blend of technical intuition, analytical thinking, and just enough curiosity to break (and fix) anything in my path.
What I Bring to the Table
(Besides Coffee)
Enterprise Fixer & ITSM Sleuth: I live for unraveling complex system issues and bringing calm to chaotic incident queues.
SQL Strategist & Data Tuner: Writing elegant queries, optimizing performance, and safeguarding your data’s integrity are my bread and butter.
Insight Alchemist: I turn raw data into visual stories with Tableau, Excel, and a dash of storytelling magic.
Mentor & Lifelong Learner: I guide teams, simplify the complex, and continuously chase what's next in tech.
I’m certified in ITIL4 and cloud technologies, and I’ve immersed myself in advanced training for SQL, Python scripting, and data visualization. I believe that good tech work is part science, part creativity—and a whole lot of collaboration.
